People meet in different ways, fall in love, get married, and have kids.  There is nothing new about it, very traditional.  In our case however it is outside the norm.  We meet in a chat room. Not just any chat room but here on BTI.  How can two people fall in love that have never met?  As strange as it sounds it happened.  We exchanged phone numbers, and there was A LOT of late night calls.  The more we talked the more our love for each other grew. We feel in love with each other’s mind and souls.  The choice to fly half way across the country was an easy one. We knew that we were meeting the loves of our lives.  We meet face to face on Friday the 13. The luckiest day in our lives.  We had talked about getting matching tattoos done, but that was not good enough for us.  We decided on getting a heart with a lighting bolt through it.  We split the heart down the center of the lighting bolt.  For I carry his heart and he carries mine.  They are only complete and beat as one when we are together.  It is our symbol of the love that we have for each other.  It has only been a short time that we have know each other, but we both feel as if we were struck by lighting.  The best part of this whole story is on bent knee Shane purposed to Keri so our hearts will always beat as one.  Shane and Keri were married this past August in New York.

Shane invited me and my wife Laura to the wedding but we couldn’t afford to go , so Laura said i could go on my own as i had allways wanted to go to america. i phoned Shane to tell him that i was going to be there and he couldn’t believe it, but then again niether could i. so i started to try to arrange a flight and phoned them again and found out the wedding had been moved from New York to Nichols Iowa (Keri’s place) and had been brouhgt forwards to the 11th aug. lucky i hadn’t yet booked the ticket. Shane then hit me with the most awesome question “Would i be best man?” hell yeah! who wouldn’t. so it was settled i was going to fly to Chicago on the friday, Shane and Keri would pick me up and we would be back at her place before midnight on friday the 10th. how wrong could i be? on my way to the airport there was a accident on the m25 london orbital motorway(freeway) which was blocked for over 10 hours. missed my flight, got another the following morning, had Shane and Keri in Chicago waiting from friday afternoon untill 10:45 ish saturday when i finally got there!!! from then on the weekend went perfect i was made to feel more welcome than i had ever felt before. Shane and Keri are the best sort of people you could ever meet and i am more than proud to call them “MY FAMILY” and of course not forgetting Keri’s little daughter Makenzie, who is an absolute little angel. the rest is now history and some will be covered in another story of how i came to get my BTI tattoo by Tatbrat, Wendy in Chicago on the sunday before flying back on the monday.

WELL SHANE AND KERI ITS BEEN A FEW WEEKS NOW AND I HOPE YOU ARE STILL JUST AS HAPPY AS THE DAY YOU MET, I WANT TO WISH YOU BOTH ALL THE BEST FROM ME “THE BLOODY ENGLISHMAN” AND LAURA FROM NOW ON AND FOREVER MORE. YOU ARE ALL MY NEW AMERICAN FAMILY AND I WILL BE BACK
